Comforter Top-Stitching

Fluffy cream-colored comforter sewn into squares on bed with white pillows and white sheet
Top-Stitching = Square Repair

All About Down® can evenly re-distribute the wayward down in your comforter and top-stitch it into large, sewn-through squares so the down stays in place...forever.

Not All Squares Are Created Equal! - You may have a comforter (not from us) that looks like it’s sewn into squares, yet the down moves around leaving bare spots. Why does this happen? For the sake of economy, commercial comforters have small openings in the corner of each square through which the down is blown when the comforter is filled. After the comforter is closed, these corner openings remain, allowing the down to shift.
We Wash Your Comforter Before We Work on It - Our expert Cleaning Service washes your comforter at a small additional cost so it will be as fresh and odor-free. Our washing requirement protects your and other customers' down items by keeping our workspace clean. Additionally, washing fluffs up the existing down in your comforter.
Say Good-Bye to Shifty, Drifty Down - Another option to top-stitching your existing down comforter is to start over with a new problem-free All About Down® comforter. As a bonus, we can use the down in your old comforter to make a pillow.
Before We Top-Stitch Your Down Comforter, Ask Yourself... - Is the fabric on my comforter in good condition? No? Send it to our Down Comforter Re-Covering service. Ta-da! Your comforter will look like brand new All About Down® comforter and lack the problems that plagued the old one.

Add or Subtract Down Before We Top-Stitch Your Down Comforter

  • Were You Comfortably Warm When Your Comforter Was New? - If so, there is no need to add or subtract more down.

  • Do You Want a Warmer Comforter? - We can add more 800 to 900-fill power goose down, the same down we use for our new comforters.

  • Do You Want a Cooler Comforter? - We can remove some down and use it to make pillows or return it to you. We can’t buy used down.
